Between the rain, the wind, a lack of waves and actually being kind of busy these days, I hadn't been surfing in nearly 3 weeks. That doesn't sound like a long time...and really it isn't, but I still missed it. So when I pulled up to Shipwrecks today and saw this I was pretty happy.
Sure it was small and the water was really cold, not to mention a little dirty from all the rain...but it was sunny and glassy as well. More then inviting enough to paddle out and catch a few fun ones...which is exactly what I did.
And you know what, it was good to be back.
