As a group, the Channel 4 crew doesn't get out to happy hour all that often. Mainly because we work nights and it is generally frowned upon to offer half price drinks at 10 AM. Today however was a special occasion and the stars aligned perfectly for us all to get together.
First off, it was the last day of the All-Star break so we were (a.) available and (b.) looking to end the break on a high note. Second of all, and more importantly, it was our friend Yedid's sending off party. Yedid worked upstairs on the 5th floor for Cox Media doing...well doing something. I'm not exactly sure what, but she was busy all the time. Maybe too busy, which is why she has decided to move on to bigger and better things.
That's a story for a different blog though, for our purposes all you need to know is that the turnout tonight was good, the company was great, and the pizza was delicious.
