According to the experts at Wikipedia, a man named Richard Fain gave Deon Sanders the nickname "Prime Time". As the story goes, Dick and Deon used to play basketball as kids during the prime time hour and Sanders' athletic display during those games won him that title.
Now's he's Prime Time because he's on the NFL Network. Today, Deon and his pals were at Qualcomm Stadium for the Chargers - 49ers game and I'll say this...Prime Time still travels in style. The setup for the pre-game and postgame show on the NFL Network was absolutely top notch. Tons of cameras, a huge crew and the set was even on hydraulics.
I wonder who I need to talk to about getting that for Postgame?
