Restaurant week is a beautiful thing. For those that don't know what it is...shame on you. Tons of restaurants all over San Diego put together a fixed menu (usually about 3 courses with a few choices in each course) for a fixed price and then sit back and watch the patrons roll in. It's a great excuse to get outside your "restaurant" box and try something new.
For the Postgame crew that meant Buonissimo 2 in Hillcrest. A great little Italian place with a cool vibe and good food...and the perfect place for a "family style" dinner. I had the caprese, the pasta and a connolo for desert...along with my fair share of bread and oil. I call it the "Carbo Load" diet.
